My name is Sandra Swales, I represent and am The Secretary for the United States Chapter for the Karuna Foundation, which is endorsed by His Holiness The Dalai Lama. I have had the good fortune to become friends with Donna Byrnes during a Pilgrimage to India. The group was small so we were witness to the best and the worst attributes of each group member during the course of this trip. Of the twelve people traveling with us, Donna was by far the most caring, compassionate and unselfish. Donna is a great humanitarian and displayed the most motherly and caring concern for all during the difficult trip to a third world country. We stayed in a Monastery which houses over 8,000 Tibetan Buddhist Monks. Our organization, The Karuna Foundation provides food, clothing, shelter and religious training for over 225 orphans and young monks in training who fled the oppression of the Chinese. Donna is a compassionate, incredibly gifted Reiki Healer and Counselor to whom the monks and people and our group swiftly gravitated to for emotional and spiritual needs. Donna quickly won the Respect and Honor and admiration Our Foundation is endorsed by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and We are pleased that Donna sponsors several of our orphans as well as her donations to the monks since her return to the United States. We want to Thank you Donna for your Reiki Treatments and continued support.
